The Dokumentation Obersalzberg is a place of guided learning and remembrance designed by the Institut für Zeitgeschichte Munich-Berlin on behalf of the Free State of Bavaria. It offers the visitor to this historic site the opportunity to study and reflect on the history of Obersalzberg and the history of National Socialism. To achieve this goal the permanent exhibition is accompanied by special exhibitions, lectures and events as well as a comprehensive educational program.
