The photographer Johann Brandner ran a photo kiosk on the Obersalzberg. When he was supposed to sell, he turned directly to Hitler and demanded a high price as compensation for his business and laboratory. He was arrested immediately during the following night. He was imprisoned at the Dachau Concentration Camp between March 1937 and March 1939. He became a soldier mid-War and died "a hero's death for Fuehrer, Volk and Fatherland" in January 1945.
